Application Deadline for Returning Students for Fall 2010

The application deadline for Returning Students for the fall 2010 semester is Monday, February 1, 2010.   Returning students are those who were formerly matriculated and are not currently enrolled for the spring 2010 semester in matriculated status. 

Students may apply online at:  http://www.csumentor.edu.   Applications must be submitted by 11:59 p.m. on February 1.

Study trips to Kenya and London offered by California State University Fresno’s Division of Continuing and Global Education will be detailed during Travel Night at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday, February 23.  Travel Night takes place in the Peters Business Building, Room 192, and is open to the public.

Highlighted will be “London’s Theatre Scene,” escorted by C. Tim Quinn, and “The Best of Kenya with Ralph Waterhouse.”  Both non-credit programs are open to any adult. Admission to Fresno State is not required.

Student Protests At CSU Fresno

 Students all over the nation today are protesting increases in tuition, reduced class offerings, furloughs and more.   At CSU Fresno, students marched from Shaw Avenue to campus chanting and carrying posters and the like.  The event was tame and offered the gathering of peace officers little to do.

Go 'Dogs...!

 

Traffic on 19th Avenue was temporarily shut down today when students from San Francisco State University protesting cuts to educational funding poured into the street and blocked traffic.
